We’re really happy to have Sandrine Dolader working with us again on the campsite this summer.  Providing weekly sessions of Qi Gong, and Shiatsu massage, Sandrine can put you in touch with your body, becoming aware of your breathing and the tiny movements you need to make just to walk from A – B, through to easing chronic and acute pain and long-standing hormonal issues.

We're also happy to provide sessions in mindfulness with a qualified life coach, helping you to become aware of how you communicate with yourself and others, and resolving any difficulties.  Easing long-term issues from childhood, getting rid of irrational phobias, finding answers to your recurrent dilemmas… You don’t lie on a couch and recount endless tales of childhood woes, blaming everyone but yourself … Instead, we begin with finding what you would like to have happen, and working out how you can get there …  from a position of mutual curiosity and trust.  We can walk, draw pictures, use pebbles, music … whatever seems appropriate at the time.

So many people put off looking after themselves, for fear of seeming selfish or incapable.  Take this quote from Marianne Williamson, erroneously attributed to Nelson Mandela:

We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people will not feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do.”
