Entertainment

We provide limited entertainment (animations) throughout the season, mostly in July and August, these can include wine tasting evenings, music quizzes, general quizzes, sporting events on TV (Wimbledon, World Cup football, Tour de France, Formula 1 etc).

Sarah organizes, and leads, a weekly walk through the local countryside - hills, vines, woods and sometimes through the mud !

WALKS PLANNED FOR EVERY FRIDAY MORNING AT 09.30 am - MEET IN FRONT OF RECEPTION.

Music groups appear every 2 weeks or so in the summer - nothing too loud or too late, usually in conjunction with a special themed meal. 

There are 2 major fireworks shows during the year; 16 June at the Fete de la St Jean in Francueil; 14 July for the Fete Nationale (Bastille Day). 
2018 will also have the third edition of a "Nautical Carnival" on the Cher starting near the site and finishing in Bléré with a firework display.  

Fishing is possible from the banks of the Cher, permits can be bought from Reception and online in advance at www.cartedepeche.fr -  'Lucky Hats' are not provided.
