Camping Le Moulin Fort is situated on the banks of the river Cher just 15 minutes walk from the Château of Chenonceau, one of the most picturesque in the Loire region. Set on three hectares of level ground, there are 130 well-maintained grassy pitches, most with some shade. A variety of bushes and shrubs delimitate the pitches.

The campsite has a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, with all the facilities you would expect on a 3 star site. The washblocks are clean and well-equipped; fresh bread is delivered daily throughout the season and our other facilities open in accordance with our tariff bands (see tariff page).

In the heart of the Loire valley, the site is an ideal base for visiting the many chateaux, gardens and other tourist attractions in the area. When you arrive, we'll happily recommend places of interest in the area or point you in the direction of some 'caves' where you can taste the renowned and local wines.

But we'll also encourage you to unwind after a tiring journey, relax with a book from our library or chill-out with a beer or an ice-cream… With many people returning each year, we feel we have a site to be proud of – visit us and see if you agree!
