We are just starting the difficult task of coming out of 'confinement or lockdown'.  Primary schools have returned this week and secondary schools will start in some form or another from May 18th (Melanie included).  Very strict hygene measures and social distancing will apply - it won't be school as we remember it. 

Other tourist attractions are opening slowly throughout the country, some beaches will open again soon and the ZooParc de Beauval will open on 2 June. 

The opening of the campsite for the 2020 season is still 'on hold', we are awaiting official instructions but they can't agree on when or how it should happen.  It is understandable - there are no precedents to follow, and they will never be able to please everyone!  

We are trying to keep the grass cut and the house tidy but nothing more as we wait further details of what we can or can't do!  

We had a succesful "non-opening Zoom session" on Friday 8 May, over 40 couples joined us from 4 European countries and we all enjoyed chatting in the various 'breakout rooms'.  We only lost a few people in cyberspace!!  

We intend to have another Zoom evening on May 22nd, we will send out the link and post it on Facebook.  Depending on how long we stay closed...there may be more!  

Look after yourselves, stay alert (!) and hopefully scenes like this aren't too far away!!
