Doesn't time fly.
Meanwhile, John and the valiant campers slaved away in the kitchen to produce a wonderful Christmas dinner with all the trimmings – possibly the hottest Christmas festivities this side of the equator? Everyone seemed to have a great time and thanks again to all those who helped, especially Kay and Paul and their amazing Christmas pudding bomb.

Many of our seasonal staff have returned to their studies now and we’d like to wish them every success- we’ve had a lovely team working for us this year. In fact, it’s been a great summer. We’re nonetheless looking forward to the autumn, a slightly slower pace and the opportunity to adapt to yet another family routine. Danielle starts at her new lycée on Thursday and will be catching the train into Tours every day (she’s still looking for a host family in a German speaking country for next summer if anyone has any contacts…)
