We’ve had a good couple of weeks, with plenty of dry weather which has encouraged us to get on with some Spring gardening, clearing the campsite of fallen twigs and branches, and mowing and strimming. John has been joined by Gregory Bouclet who’s proving a helpful addition to the team, especially as Sarah has been away for another week, leaving John to deal with the
girls and all the cooking, cleaning and school runs. Sarah has come back with a new job description ‘Consultant in Clean Change work’ and will be giving some talks over the summer on ‘Changing Old Habits’, ‘Managing Stress’ and ‘Better Communicating’ as well as continuing to hold individual coaching sessions. Sandrine Dolader will be coming on site regularly to hold Qi Gong Introductory sessions, Shiatsu massage and we’re also introducing a couple of sessions in Geo-biology, a look at how we are affected and influenced by nature. Contact us directly if you want more information on any of these events.
We have a couple of live music events booked for the summer:
26th June: Soultime
14th July: Soultime with fireworks
19th July: Bruno
23rd July: Virginie
2nd August: Bruno
9th August: Virginie
16th August: Bruno
Our local village brocante is on 5th June and for those fans of the annual Feu de la St Jean and Fete de la Locomotion, it will be taking place over the weekend of 18/19th June, not to mention the Firework Display and BBQ planned for 14th July.
That’s it for now, thanks to those who’ve offered to bring books and beans for us… next update late April when we’ll be flustered trying to get everything ready for opening on 1st May. No matter how well we plan things, there’s always a last minute hiccup such as a broken pipe or blocked drain and we’ve got a big Campsite Inspection booked for 10th May so everything will need to be ‘ship shape’ by then.
