After months of hard work and training, fake tan and
glitter, the Strictly finalists have been decided. Jay, Kellie, Georgia
and 'Anton' !. Who will it be? We can hardly wait until next week to
find out!!!

Sarah’s back teaching again until the end of term –in a
primary school, which is proving more challenging than perhaps expected.
We’re also very busy with the Christmas show. But this time next week, it
will all be over and we’ll be looking forward to spending Christmas with
Sarah’s parents, and then travelling to Germany to spend New Year with Danielle
and her host family. Rebecca is safely home after her stay in Italy and
so we’ll have all our family together again in the New Year.
John’s getting on with campsite jobs – new doors and windows
in the bar, and the daily admin with lots of bookings still coming in. We
expect a little flurry of bookings during the holidays so bear with us if we
take a few days to reply! He’s also busy renovating our bathroom. Deadline: before Danielle gets home! Which will be cutting it fine,
mainly because everything was on hold for 5 weeks while we waited for the plumber
to turn up. Grrh.
However, as we receive various Christmas cards and
newsletters from friends and campers alike, we read of families losing loved
ones unexpectedly and so, as we empathise with their pain and pass on our
sympathy and good wishes, we also hug our loved ones a little tighter. It
puts these insignificant grumbles into perspective and helps us to appreciate
everything we have to enjoy today.
With that in mind, we’d like to wish you all a very Happy
Christmastime (remember the Moulin Fort Christmas on 25th Aug?) and
peace and goodwill for 2016.
