We’ve been having some wonderful weather, cool fresh mornings and warm sunny afternoons so we’ve really been able to get on with set-up jobs. Bradley has been working hard and has been joined by a number of campers who arrived before the official opening date and who have given us an hour or two of their time. It’s really helped!

The campsite is looking great .. and we’re now officially open and looking forward to a good season.
Both teachers are now back at school so I’m enjoying the freedom, and the ability to spend more time on the campsite, although the head has asked me to keep my key, just in case there are more absences in May and June! The school holidays here start on Easter weekend, so I’m taking the girls back to the
When we get back, it will be time to start moving into the next part of the season, opening up the pool, bar and restaurant…
Bookings are coming in nicely; and we think we’ve finally got our 2014 team in place, after a number of last-minute changes and hiccups.
Lots of dates for the diary already
The Star man is coming on 17th June; 16th July; 12th August and 9th Setpember
We’ve booked Bruno for 22nd July and the 5th & 19th August.
Betty Boup will be returning on 24th June and 30th July.
The brocante in Francueil is on 8th June and the Fete de la St Jean and Fete de la locomotion (huge gathering of American trucks and all things motorised with live music, a bonfire made of the old vines and firework display) will take place on 21/22nd June.
For those of you travelling from Calais / Boulogne note that the Pont Mathilde in Rouen is still closed and you need to follow the diversion via the A29/A151/A150 . It isn't likely to re-open until September !
